Haha . . . not funny.

Feministing’s Weekly Feminist reader alerted me to F Word’s recent posting
Har Har,” in which Sara Anderson holds advertising exec Gerdien responsible for making a visual joke about the abuse of women by beating them with keyboards.

Gerdien argues that since the ad was made by three women, it can’t be sexist, and states, “Because of the absurdity we didn’t feel the link with abuse. I hope you understand and I feel sorry that we offended you.”

Pfft. Forgetting the nonsensical women-cannot-be-sexist argument, I am just blown away that this woman feels really good about this advertisement. Check out the “har har” link above to get the whole story.
